Amara Antilla

Amara Antilla is an Assistant Curator at the Guggenheim Museum where she works with international modern and contemporary art. She has assisted on the retrospectives of Lee Ufan (2011), V.S. Gaitonde (2014-15), and Monir Farmanfarmaian (2015) and the Guggenheim UBS MAP Global Art Initiative (2016-18). Independently, she has organized programs in partnership with Clark House Initiative, Mumbai; Dhaka Art Summit; Northern Spark, Minneapolis; and N. K. Projekt, Berlin among others. Antilla was awarded an Asian Cultural Council grant for art history in 2015–16. She studied art history at Tufts University, the Museum School, and Hunter College, City University of New York.
