What is shared, what is offered

What is shared, what is offered Tuesday, February 14 6:30–8pm ICI Curatorial Hub 401 Broadway, Suite 1620 FREE and open to the public Join artists Doug Ashford and Chloë Bass for a Valentine’s Day discussion about intimacy and time. For the past year, Chloë and Doug have been engaged in an ongoing conversation about abstraction, interpersonal relations, and human understanding as conveyed through art. For this Hub event at ICI, they’re going to play a game. Each artist has selected a series of images that the other has not seen. As the images are revealed one by one, Chloë will respond to Doug’s selections, and Doug to Chloë’s, producing an instinctive conversation that leads to larger truths. The event celebrates the pairing of image and language, the known and the unknown, and intergenerational friendship. Wine and chocolate will be served. This event is free and open to the public. To attend, please RSVP to rsvp@curatorsintl.org with SHARED in the subject line. This program is supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with City Council, and the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.
