Bice Curiger is a Swiss art historian, critic, and curator. She has been a curator at the Kunsthaus Zürich from 1993-2013. She is also the co-founder and editor-in-chief of Parkett, a contemporary art magazine published in New York and Zürich since 1984, and the publishing director of the Tate Etc magazine produced by Londons Tate Gallery. She is author of the monograph Meret Oppenheim: Defiance in the Face of Freedom, published 1982 in German. In 2011 Curiger was selected to curate the 54th Venice Biennale. Since 2014 she is the artistic director of the Fondation Vincent van Gogh Arles.
