Laura Huertas Millán

Laura Huertas Millán (Colombia, 1983) is a Colombian-French filmmaker. She graduated from the School of Fine Arts of Paris and from Le Fresnoy – Studio National des Arts Contemporains. She holds a PhD in Cinema, Arts and Ethnography. She was associate researcher at the Sensory Ethnography Lab and the Film Study Center at Harvard University for three years. Her work has been featured in shows at Centre Pompidou, Museé Jeu de Paume, Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, The Film Society of Lincoln Center, TIFF’s Lightbox, Palais de Tokyo, Les Laboratoires d’Aubervilliers, Museo de Arte Moderno de Medellin, Museo de Arte Miguel Urrutia. Huertas Millan has also been part of the official selection of the Toronto Film Festival, FID Marseille, Doclisboa, Torino Film Festival, Ficunam Mexico, Curtas Vila do Conde, Videobrasil, Bienal de la Imagen en Movimiento de Buenos Aires, Fronteira Film Festival and the Documentary Festival of Bogota.
