Robinah Nansubuga

Robinah Nansubuga is working toward a Bachelors degree in Commerce from Makerere University. She has been running curatorial projects in Kampala since 2004, where she started her career with the Ndere Centre as the cultural supervisor. In 2006 she moved to the commercial gallery Afriart as the curatorial administrator. In 2011 Nansubuga took on the role of gallery manager at Fas Fas art. In 2012 she began work as a freelance curator with Nafasi Art Space in Tanzania visiting, researching, and executing artist talks and exhibitions and encouraging dialogue between the Ugandan, Tanzanian, and Kenyan artistic community. Nansubuga is currently working for 32º East / Ugandan Arts Trust as a Project Manager, where she is overseeing offsite projects and working with studio artists and international artists-in-residence.
