Susan Stewart
Susan Stewart is the Avalon Foundation University Professor in the Humanities, Professor of English, and Director of the Society of Fellows in the Liberal Arts at Princeton University. A poet, critic, and translator, she is the author of many books, including The Open Studio: Essays in Art and Aesthetics. She is a MacArthur Fellow, a former Chancellor of the Academy of American Poets, a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and the recipient of an Academy Award in Literature from the American Academy of Arts and Letters. In the Spring of 2014, she was a Berlin Prize Fellow at the American Academy in Berlin.
