Thai Art Archives (f. 2010, Bangkok-New York) is Thailands first and only independent archives to focus on recovering, studying, documenting, preserving, and exhibiting the valuable ephemeraofficial and personal documents, sketchbooks, notebooks, diaries, photographs, and printed matter, among other itemsof Thailands modern and contemporary artists. Now entering its third year in a special projects platform at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, the TAA raises public awareness of the historical significance of Thailands progressive, avant garde heritage through a dynamic program of public and educational events, micro exhibitions, cataloging of special projects, scholar and student residencies, and international collaborations.
