The Otolith Group
Members: Anjalika Sagar (United Kingdom, 1968) and Kodwo Eshun (United Kingdom, 1966) The Otolith Groups work explores the speculative futures and science fictions of planetary matters and cosmopolitics. Recent solo exhibitions include In the Year of the Quiet Sun at CASCO, Utrecht and Novaya Zemlya at Museo Serralves, Porto. Recent group exhibitions include Not New Now: Marrakech Biennale 6, GLOBALE: Infosphere, ZKM, Karlsruhe, 10th Bamako Encounters: African Biennale of Photography and The Freedom Principle: Experiments in Art and Music 1965 to Now at Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago. In 2010, The Otolith Group was nominated for The Turner Prize.
