From May 9 to 13, a series of events around the latest do it publication gave New York city an orange glow: ICI, W Magazine, and Burberry kicked off the celebrations with a dinner marking the launch of do it: the compendium, at the Park Avenue Armory (May 9); ICI presented two do it limited editions, by Mariana Abramovic and Stephen Kaltenbach at NADA, New York (May 1012); do it was featured at D.A.P.’s bookstore at Frieze, New York (May 1013); Burberry hosted an exclusive conversation with Kate Fowle, Hans Ulrich Obrist, Richard Wentworth, and Uri Aran (May 11); and finally we all celebrated the book with a signing at MoMA PS1 (May 12). Starting this spring, do it exhibitions will also take place at Gund Gallery at Kenyon College (Gambier, Ohio), tranzit (Budapest, Hungary), MU artspace (Eindhoven, Netherlands), Samek Art Gallery at Bucknell University (Lewisburg, Pennsylvania), and many more to come.
