Take in this special collection focusing on emerging art being made now, following the couples’ recent promised gifts of nearly 500 artworks to the Whitney and 300 artworks to the Centre Pompidou. The Whitney has announced a major exhibition of these works for 2015–16, the opening year of the new Chelsea building. Hear from special guest Sheena Wagstaff, Chairman of the Department of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, formerly Chief Curator at Tate Modern. Wagstaff will share her insights and international perspective, focusing on the methods and programs that foster new types of collaboration.
