Susan Hapgood, ICI’s Director of Exhibitions, will present a talk which will address various approaches to curating exhibitions of contemporary art, looking at some of the ways the practice has changed in recent years. She will use specific examples from ICI’s program and question the role of the curator in the current globalized art environment, leading to discussion of future initiatives under way at the ICI. This program is organized in association with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalay (CSMVS), The Museum Society of Bombay and Cymroza Art Gallery, Mumbai. Admission is free and open to all on a first-come-first-serve basis.
