Exhibition^3: Documenta 5, Harald Szeemann, The Artists Thursday, February 26, 2015 6:00pm University of Pittsburgh Art Gallery 104 Frick Fine Arts Building, Pittsburgh, PA 15260 FREE and open to the public Students in the University of Pittsburgh’s Museum Studies Exhibition Seminar have worked together along with Professor Terence Smith and Gallery Curator Isabelle Chartier to create Exhibition^3: Documenta 5, Harald Szeemann, The Artists. The exhibition is based around the touring ICI exhibition Harald Szeemann: Documenta 5, and expands on the raw material to encompass the influential career of Harald Szeemann, a collection of books, catalogs, and other documentary material created at the time of Documenta 5, by or about artists involved in the original 1972 exhibition. Exhibition^3: Documenta 5, Harald Szeemann, The Artists opens on February 24 and will be on view through March 20, 2015. An opening reception will be held at the University of Pittsburgh Gallery on Thursday, February 26 at 6pm. This event is free and open to the public.
