For the first ICI Conversations event of 2014, ICI invited guests to an exclusive cocktail reception with Franklin Sirmans, the Artistic Director of Prospect.3 and the Terri and Michael Smooke Department Head and Curator of Contemporary Art at Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA). In New York for ICIs Curatorial Intensive, Sirmans presented a sneak preview of the third edition of New Orleans International Contemporary Art Biennial in a celebratory atmosphere with refreshing cocktails and Southern catering. The event was a collaboration with Prospect, and hosted by artnet on the 26th floor of the historic Woolworth Building. The New Orleans International Contemporary Art Biennial will open on October 25, 2014.
