LET ICI BE YOUR GUIDE TO PROSPECT AND NEW ORLEANS! Join ICI in New Orleans this November for the opening of Prospect.4, and explore one of the world’s most fascinating cities, home to truly unique culture, food and music. Since 2014, ICI and Prospect, together with Contemporary Art Center and the Joan Mitchell Center, have engaged in an ongoing partnership that harnesses the unique qualities of these four art organizations to produce a series of programs that enhance the citys art ecosystem. Over the course of this collaboration, ICI has developed strong connections with the city and privileged access to its cultural scene. Curatorial Intensive alumni have become integral to the citys art world: three of them are currently working on the Prospect.4 team, and others contribute to NOLAs most vibrant art organizations such as Pelican Bomb and Arts District New Orleans. TRIP DETAILS & ITINERARY HIGHLIGHTS SUGGESTED ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURES Arrival: Friday morning, November 17 Departure: Sunday afternoon or evening, November 19 FRIDAY Curator-led tour of Prospect.4 at CAC New Orleans Prospect.4 Gala* SATURDAY Private collection visit and brunch Visit of artists studios and hidden art spaces led by Curatorial Intensive Alum Dinner & Jazz SUNDAY Prospects Second Line! A traditional processional opening march in true New Orleans style. Additional Prospect site visits with curators and artists ??? FEES The ICI trip is $2,300 per couple (shared room), or $1,500 for one. It includes hotel, airport transfers, local transportation, all site and collection visits, Friday Lunch, Saturday Brunch, Dinner & Jazz. *Tickets to Prospect.4 Benefit Gala are available for an additional $500.
