The conversation stems from Enjalran’s fellowship research into forms of artistic engagement with the public sphere, as well as the relationship between art, society, and politics in the U.S. Enjalran will discuss with Fiks the notion of political (or politicized) art, the importance of memory in his practice, as well as the sense of responsibility in the representation of fleeting histories.
