Performance Now Featured in Real Time Arts Magazine

Courtesy of the artist Keith Gallasch recently reviewed the exhibition of Performance Now at QUT Art Museum in Brisbane, Australia for Real Time Arts Magazine. The article gives in-depth descriptions of specific artworks in the show, as well placing the exhibition within the larger context and history of contemporary performance art. About Performance Now, Gallasch says:

“No breezing through this show. Youll need hours, maybe days. In Performance Now, a collection of significant works will be simultaneously exhibited on screen in the museum. They comprise variously brisk, episodic and durational creationsserious, witty and provocativeby performance artists, visual artists with an inclination to perform (or have others do it for them) and film, video, theatre and dance makers, expanding our sense of what comprises performance today.”
