The Napa Valley Register recently featured the upcoming opening of do it and do it (Archive) at the Napa Valley Museum, the first-ever presentation of the exhibition in Napa Valley, California. In addition to the overall exhibition and the project’s archive, the Napa Valley Museum has organized two additional series of programs: do it (for Kids) and do it (Happy Hour), to engage visitors from all demographics with the exhibition. About the exhibition, the Napa Valley Register states:
“do it reflects the necessity of exploring collaboration and shared authorship in a constantly evolving art world. The project’s impetus was rooted in the effects of globalization on curating and artistic practice in the 1990s, a time that witnessed an unprecedented expansion of the geographies of contemporary art.”
