John Baldessari has a long history with ICI, serving as a trustee of the organization for 9 years and presenting his work in 13 ICI touring shows; he also co-curated the exhibition 100 ARTISTS SEE GOD with fellow artist Meg Cranston, which toured to 6 museums across the U.S. and the U.K. from 2004 through 2006. Recent exhibitions include: John Baldessari: Pure Beauty, the artist’s first major U.S. retrospective in 20 years, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art from October 2010–January 2011, solo exhibition at Marian Goodman Gallery 2010, and his first exhibition in Russia, 1+1=1 at Garage Center for Contemporary Culture, September–November 2013.
