Phokeng Tshepo Setai
Phokeng Tshepo Setai is an academic, art-maker, curatorial practitioner and cultural worker living in Cape Town, South Africa. He is currently appointed as an Early Career Doctoral Fellow with the Centre for Humanities Research, Flagship for Critical Thought in African Humanities, and is also a doctoral candidate in Anthropology at the University of the Western Cape. In his curatorial practice, Setai is interested in the post-colonial condition, and believes that art and its curatorial interpretations are integral to the stitching of societal dissonances at the heart of contemporary social life.
